Welcome to the Hep C Norfolk Support Group. We are a small and friendly group of people who meet the first Saturday of each month at 10 Cathedral Street, Norwich NR1 1LX between 11:00am and 1:00pm.
Everyone is welcome.
All of us in the group know how difficult it can be to talk to friends and family, and that many people are rightly concerned about confidentiality and the implications of diagnosis for things like work.
Being diagnosed with Hepatitis C can be an dreadful shock, and you can feel very alone. Everybody who currently attends the group knows what that's like. But in recent years treatments have improved hugely and are successful for many people even though the side effects can be unpleasant and difficult to cope with.
That's why we're here, to obtain and offer support through the difficult times. We find there's always a great deal to learn from other people's experiences, and what helps them to cope.
Our meetings are informal, and because there is life after Hep C we talk about lots of other things.
So give it a try, come along and have a cup of tea and a natter. We have biscuits too!
